Circulab platform receives WISE funding for AI-driven materials discovery

The Ajimathew Lab is proud to announce continued support from the Wallenberg Initiative Materials Science for Sustainability (WISE) for the Circulab automated materials discovery platform.

Circulab integrates high-throughput synthesis, inline monitoring, and machine learning to accelerate the discovery of sustainable biobased materials. This funding enables us to expand our capabilities and hire two new PhD students.

The platform is currently being used to explore nanocellulose-based membranes for water purification and biopolymer scaffolds for tissue engineering applications.
